TOWN INFORMATION
We're set in the 1900s, in a small town of Louisville, Arizona; familes have prospered and lived here for years and years. Men, children and women of this town have lived by the old rules of society, however change is happening and we are at the turn of the century. Horses, carriages, drawn carts, and donkeys used to be the only means of transportation, but the creation of the automobile has slowly been trickling into the area.

The mayor loves the new changes, however the people and business owners dislike it. Citizens wish to remain the way things have always been, change has never been good for this little town yet there seems to be a constant change of opinions..
Men believe that women should remain as house wives, servants, cooks, mid-wives and tailors, rather than becoming a doctor or business owner like themselves. And the woman believe that they have an equal if not greater right to become whatever they desire and that they should not remain as a prize or object towards the male species.

Change is constantly an ongoing thing within this town; people come back from holidays with loads of new items that others wish to have or buy from them, citizens leave then return only to pack up and move to a larger city; day by night the population of this town was growing smaller and smaller. The mayor needed to end this, and he did. Borders were closed between Arizona and other states in the US; the mayor has requested and stated that none of his citizens are to be released from this town. However that was three years ago, and once again we find that change is only more leaking in the population and into the citizens..

The same rules apply as they did before, change is beginning to actually be offered to the public by store and business owners. But have we been to brain-washed to realize the turn of the century is here? That our futures are within our grasps?
Some of us are, but the question stands- are you?
